With that let’s talk about Spring Cleaning; within the week, Spring will have arrived (Hallelujah!) and each of us will be looking ahead to prepare for the season!
Now I’m not Martha Stewart so I’m not talking about cleaning your chandelier, I’m mean sorting through the leftovers in your promo closet/drawer/storage locker, (wherever you stash it to keep it from walking away) and re-purposing those odds & ends to make them relevant again.
Re-use those pieces in a new way, take that hand-full of odd-sized golf shirts and use them as
re-activation gifts for key accounts. Package them in a lovely box with a bow, have the sales team hand pick the sizing they need and then have include a letter inviting their key account to get a jump of the Spring season with some practice swings at a the local Indoor golf club.
Take those few wayward pens and include them in a letter to key prospects. lost clients, initiating a planning session for the coming quarter ” I’d like to put a pen to paper and see what we can do in the coming quarter to bring you…”
As we’ve always said, its really not about the actual product – its all about how to relate it to the outcome you need.
