Ottawa Business Events recently asked Silver Star Swag to find a Thank you gift for the first executive to present at its new Speakers’ Series for the top executives, called CEO Talk.  First one up, Mr. Roger Greenberg –  no small feat to be asked to come up with a gift that might interest/engage a high-level executive, let alone a “TITAN” like Mr. Greenberg.  What do you get a now Executive Chair with diverse projects on the go – one of them being the formidable Lansdowne Park project in conjunction with OSEG’s new Red Blacks!

His executive experience share was well worth the time, whether you wanted to hear about ow a family-run business hires from outside,  how to plan for the transition and even what, in hindsight,  he thought they could have done better.

Oh, sorry back to the gift – using the old adage – “Every tree started out as a couple of nuts who stood their ground” and knowing the contention entrepreneurs face when another ‘crazy’ idea comes along,  we set off at least make him smile, if nothing else.  We took a standard product, a relevant theme to our recipient and voila! – magic.  (Or at least we hoped.)  The following day, we received a note in appreciation of his ‘unique gift’.
